Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 05, 2026. This Privacy Policy governs your use of My Scheduler.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal identify profiles automatically. The data parsed through your college timetables (such as course names, professors, room schedules) is stored entirely inside your local sandbox filesystem. When using local manual photo uploads, data is processed securely.
2. How We Use Information
All structured academic entries we process are utilized to render visual calendars, calculate current academic ratios, generate localized task timers, and organize grades in the CGPA module.
3. AI Features
For the AI Timetable and Academic Holiday imports, images and document blobs are transmitted to secure Gemini endpoints over HTTPS encryption. These document slices are processed transitively to resolve tables into JSON; they are never persisted or utilized for model-training pipelines.
4. Analytics
We leverage localized diagnostic logs and crash diagnostics to isolate threading issues. These diagnostics contain no personal variables, schedules, or academic grades.
5. Advertising
My Scheduler features clean, optional non-personalized advertisements which are restricted from accessing calendars or reading your stored course metrics.
6. Data Security
Your local databases are encrypted using native Android sandbox protection, making your data inaccessible to secondary third-party apps on your phone.
7. Children's Privacy
Our academic companion complies with COPPA. We do not gather or maintain files from users under the age of 13 knowingly.
8. Permissions Used
The applet requests CAMERA permission (to snap timetable boards), STORAGE permission (to select calendar PDFs), and NOTIFICATION permission (to trigger class and homework alert timers).
9. Third-party Services
We work with trusted services including Google Play Services, Firebase Crashlytics, and Gemini extraction APIs to drive continuous system updates.
10. Data Retention
All academic schedules are preserved indefinitely on your local smartphone. Removing the application purges all local databases automatically.

By downloading, installing, or accessing My Scheduler, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not run or install the software.
2. User Responsibilities
You agree to upload clear, authentic university documents and calendars. You are strictly prohibited from using the app to distribute copyright materials, fraudulent exam guidelines, or violating university code of conduct policies.
3. App Availability
We strive to keep My Scheduler online continuously. However, we do not guarantee server uptimes for dynamic AI features during peak academic seasons.
4. AI Disclaimer
Our AI extraction engine attempts to achieve maximum accuracy. However, AI results may include typos or misalignments depending on image quality. Users must inspect all parsed values before final save.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developer, Khandual Development Group, be liable for academic penalties, missed classes, failed exams, or short attendance penalties arising from calendar alerts or data loss.
6. Intellectual Property
The visual assets, logos, proprietary code, scanning models, and custom UX configurations are protected under copyright. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the source packages.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or block access to AI feature models for users found abusing the endpoints with brute file requests.
8. Changes to Terms
Terms are reviewed regularly. Changes take effect immediately upon update. Continued use indicates your agreement to modified rules.
